| 1. Between 20 and 30 minutes
of homework is assigned every night. |
| 2. Homework is checked every day, including test days. |
| 3. Homework is to be done in a
separate section your math notebook. |
4. HOW TO DO HOMEWORK
a.. Review notes from the day's lesson BEFORE doing the written
assignment.
b. Show work for all problems involving algebra or trigonometry.
c. Use sketches and diagrams for all trig problems (except identity
exercises).
d. Check answers to all odd-numbered problems in the back of the
textbook. |
5. WHEN A PROBLEM SEEMS TOO
DIFFICULT TO SOLVE
a. Review notes from the last several lessons: look for
relevant formulas and concepts.
b. Show 10 minutes of work including a list the approaches you
tried.
c. Come back to the problem later; often its solution becomes apparent
when you return to it.
d. Don't give up. |
