| June 2003 I finally lifted a digital camera into the air, underneath a kite, during the last week of June, 2003. Why was I surprised when I ended up shooting 222 frames over 2 days? I would never shoot that much film in such a short time. What a great thrill though, to rush home and boot up the computer for that first viewing. I don't miss the one hour photo ritual one bit. All of the photos below were taken in Portland, Maine on the Eastern Prom, on East End Beach, and in the surrounding area. The camera I am using is the Canon Powershot Digital Elph S100 that has been modified to allow electronic shutter release. All pictures are uncropped. |
