Saint Stephen the Martyr is located in Middleburg, the heart of the Virginia Hunt Country. It was originally constructed in the early 1960’s. Our responsibility included the complete remodeling of the interior of the Nave, Choir and Sanctuary in collaboration with Pamela Ann Mickley, A.I.A. The existing acoustical tile ceiling was replaced with a new coffered ceiling featuring indirect lighting, the pews were refinished, the windows replaced, new millwork and trim installed and all existing finish redone. The renovations were designed so that the entire project could be completed over the summer break. We also prepared new site and landscape plans to be completed under a subsequent phase.
