CHARTERED

Calvary Church presented us with the unusual opportunity to design an entirely new Church on an undeveloped site. Concurrent with the programming phase, we performed a site analysis to determine the ideal location and orientation for the Church's various functions.  We then helped the Church to obtain the required governmental approvals and permits and prepared a phasing plan which enabled the Church to tailor its construction plan to its budget. Phase I, which was planned to ultimately become the Fellowship Hall was dedicated on Easter Sunday 1991. When the site is fully developed, the complex will also include an 800 seat Sanctuary Wing, a Christian Life wing and a Parsonage. The building has been designed to harmonize in scale & form with the surrounding residential community, while retaining its own identity as a Church. It is clad in stained cedar siding, in varying colors and textures and the dormered and multi-gabled roof is finished in standing seam metal roofing.
