
The Tides Inn, constructed soon after the end of World War II, is a celebrated resort
facility in Irvington, Virginia, a fishing village that evolved, from the
1950s to the present, to a charming vacation and retirement community. The Tides
Inn was sold to Sedona Resort Management in the late 1990s. Sedona is in the

Whitehead to learn about seeking state and federal historic preservation tax credits.
Sadler & Whitehead was hired to review the plans and to apply for tax credits
on behalf of Sedona. The project design has been approved and the project
