I AM A FIGURE SKATER!

I am a figure skater
not a ringette or hockey wannabe

I live at the arena
but i am not a rink- rat

I do jumps and spins
not leaps and twirls

I perform a program
not a routine

Skating is an individual sport
not asport full of individuals

I shower daily
and keep my outfits clean

My bag getts aired out often
and I care about my appearance

I skate in competitions
not tournaments

I win medals
not trophies

I skate the whole year long
not just until I am eliminated

I don't need refs, goal judges,
or instant replay

I can practice by myself

Skating backwards is simple

I go for the gold every time

AND...

Summer holidays do not exist

I AM A FIGURE SKATER !
