Determined
I steped slowly onto the hard cold ice. The fans screamed my name.
How I had gotten this far I never knew. I remembered a time when I kept
falling on the ice. It all seemed such a long time ago. Years had passed
and you could tell so by my face. It had always looked so determined and
strong. Deep inside though I was shaking so bad it felt like an earthquake.
I did my first jump and landed perfectly. Then I did a spin and ended
in a triple lutz. I dropped down and kissed the ice. A tear slid from my
eye as I stood up. Later that day as I was looking for new blades for my
skates a little girl came up to me and asked me how I had come so far in
just ten years. I smiled and just said " Determination and Hard work."
