Tara
Tara was a sprite in white
She does the jumps with all her might
How tiny she is I have no clue
Now she's dressed in a skirt of blue
Gold medalist in all events but one
She always looks like she's having fun
When Tara was a little girl
She dreamed of skating in a dress of pearls
When skating was all the fad
Her skating partner was a lad
Beating her fiercest rivial alive
As she leaps into her butterfly dive
Tara, Tara that's her name
And figure skating is her game
Philly was her hometown
And fame is where she is bound
