Those 3 Turns
I am one who never learns.
I cannot do those 3 turns.

Can you do them on a line?
Can you do them on a curve?
Can you try without a whine?
Can you summon up the nerve?

I cannot do them on a line.
I cannot do them on a curve.
I cannot try without a whine.

I am one who never learns.
I cannot cannot do 3 turns!

Can you do them to center?
Can you do them in the field?
Ride the edge on which you enter!
Get that mental block to yield!
I cannot do them to center.
I cannot do them in the field.
I have no edge on which to enter.
My mind will never yield.
I am one who never learns.
I will not will not do 3 turns!

Can you rotate with your shoulder?
Can you check them with your hip?
Don't cringe! Skate them bolder
Or you're guaranteed to slip!

I cannot rotate with my shoulder.
I cannot check them with my hip.
I will not skate them bolder.
I'm afraid that I will slip.
I am one who never learns.
I dare not dare not even try 3 turns!

Can you look where you are going
Instead of where you've been?
And please control your free leg.
This is not a spin!

I cannot look where I am going
Instead of where I've been.
I cannot control my free leg.
It's a battle I can't win.
I am one who never learns.
I cannot cannot do 3 turns!

Try to skate them with some power.
Don't forget to bend your knees!
I am charging by the hour.
Just TRY one, pretty please?

I cannot skate with power.
I AM bending my knees!
But if you won't look so dour
I will try ONE to appease.

I can learn! I can learn!
Look, I can do a 3 turn!
I can do them on a line!
I can do them on a curve!
I don't have to whine!
I find I have the nerve!
I can do them to center!
I can do them in the field!
I ride the edge on which I enter!
My mind will finally yeild.
I can rotate with my shoulder!
I can check them with my hip!
I can even skate them bolder
Since I'm not afraid to slip!
I now look where I am going,
Instead of where I've been!
And my free leg's where I want it;
Extended or tucked in!

Now, please stop all that racket.
I cannot do a bracket!
