Loop Madness
I've got loops in the air for which I don't care.
And my loops on the ice are not very nice.
And the loops that I practice when I'm on the ground
Just prove that my mind is no longer sound.
I should have written my will some three years ago
When ice was for tea and only tea-bags had flow.
But I'm afraid that it's far too late now.
All I have left is a tiny Salchow.
This poem is proof the loop's driving me nuts.
So why am I even considering a lutz?
Wherever I go I have loops on the brain.
I'm starting to fear that I'm really insane.
But I know only one cure for this type of affliction -
More time on the ice to feed the addiction!
I know, I'll call in since I'm mentally sick
I can then skate all day and master this trick.
Four freestyles, two publics, should be all that it takes
I'll keep doing loops until something breaks.
But wait - that's my favorite song that I hear.
I think I'll go play; there is always next year.
