The Ice

The beauty and the artistry
That ice skating brings
Such joy and excitment
Was overwhelming to me.

Now I see and feel
The sounds of the skates
The feeling of freedom so real
The excitement of the ice...

Experienced only once
But never forgotten
It lies nestled in my heart
Waiting to become reality...
