John  Lennon was born in Liverpool, England in 1940. His parents gave him to his aunt and uncle because his dad was in the military and his mom had a divorce. He hated school and was a troublemaker. He then learned how to play the rhythm guitar, and music became his love.He started his own band with some friends. It was called the Quarrymen. Then, at a picnic, he met his friend John Paul Mcartaney, other wise known as Paul Mcartany. Then, he met George Harrison, one of Paul's friends, and a great guitar player.
