Our country house is located in the rural town of West Tisbury. The backyard overlooks Nip 'n' Tuck Farm, one of the oldest farms on the Island of Martha's Vineyard. Lambert's Cove Beach, which has some of the finest sand on the Island, is merely two miles away. A permit to use this beach can be easily purchased for a small fee. There is swimming and fishing at nearby Seth's Pond. There is a grocery store, pharmacy, and post office a half mile away. This custom built house has three bedrooms and two full baths. It sleeps six. Its open downstairs layout is perfect for socializing. The antique pine floors and old beams in the livingroom give it an old country flavor. The kitchen and hallways have large Italian floor tiles and ceramic tiles in the bathrooms. Its fully equipped kitchen has an electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, and telephone. There is a screened in porch for outdoor dining, and a deck with a gas grill and picnic table. The outdoor shower feels great after a day at the beach. For rainy days there's cable TV, a VCR and a ping pong table. The downstairs bedroom with a double bed is adjacent to the bathroom. Both light and airy upstairs bedrooms have window seats that overlook the farm. The masterbedroom has a queen bed and two twin beds in the other upstairs bedroom.There's a large bathroom upstairs. It has a very private backyard. Washer and dryer are in the basement.
This house is available for vacation rentals year round. There is comfortable gas heat for off-season or winter rentals.
