The Eighth Annual Oz Awards Dinner and Auction
was held on
Saturday, November 4th, 2000
and what a success it was!
We at Consolidated Industries Thank all of you for your generous donations.
Over $35,000 was raised for individuals with disabilites and other barriers to employment.
This would not have been possible without all your support.
|
The Oz Auction is named after the movie, The Wizard of Oz, in which the
Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion,
all overcame their respective disabilities. The festivities included a
silent and oral auction,
entertainment, a buffet dinner and the award of four still to be named
individuals or
companies for their outstanding achievements with regard to individuals
with disabilities.
