The Reverend Larry D. Leister, Covenant’s Senior Pastor since July, 2005, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Pennsylvania State University and his Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary. He served three previous pastorates, was District Superintendent of the Lancaster Otterbein District, and Director of Connectional Ministries of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is a delegate to both General and Jurisdictional Conference and is currently mentoring candidates for ministry, teaching Leadership and Administration in the Local Pastors’ Licensing School and Course of Study, and coaching several congregations.

Larry's wife Lois is employed as a social worker with Hospice of Lancaster County. They are the proud parents of three grown children and attentive grandparents of four granddaughters. Please keep him and Covenant in your prayers.
