2004-2005 Happenings

HALLOWEEN PICNIC and COSTUME PARTY - October 24, 2004

Parkton, MD - Noon-4:00pm snacks at noon, big feed around 1 PM then fun and games for all. Rain or shine - the dogs don't care and the humans can hide in the barn or corncrib. Sociable dogs can run loose in the large fenced pasture. Hosts will provide grilled lamb, plates and utensils. Bring your own drink, dish to share and folding chairs. More information coming.

HOLIDAY PARTY - December 11, 2004

On December 11th, our club's annual holiday party will be hosted by Brenda, Pete and Marissa Bedrosian. Our thanks to them for their hospitality. This will be a delicious covered dish lunch with a short meeting and a Holiday auction. There will be wonderful items donated for the auction.

EYE CLINIC - Sunday January 9, 2005

The Club is sponsoring an eye clinic for Berners. Exams by appointment only. For additional call or email Brenda Bedrosian (717-246-1670). Cost is $20.

The MDBMDC supported entry show was on July 18, 2004 at York Expo in PA.

SPRING FUN DOG DAY - April 17, 2004

The club will sponsor a Fun Day for Berners and other breeds at Spring Valley Park, Glen Rock, PA.

FUN MATCH - February 28, 2004

The club will sponsor a Fun Match at Kaye Ames School for Dogs in Lancaster, PA. Everyone is welcome- Berner owners, prospective owners, spectators, exhibitors and folks who just want to hug a Berner!

EYE CLINIC - 2004

The Club sponsored an eye clinic for Berners. Dr. Peiffer of Warrington, PA performed exams on 31 dogs.
