Saving link lists to hypertext file format involves two situations:

1. The link list came from a link list (.chk) file or was created in LinkWatch during the current session.
2. The link list was extracted from a hypertext file.

In situation 1, the Save As dialog is used to save the list to a hypertext file with the links in a simple list format. In the dialog select select HTML (".htm", *.shtm*) in the Files of type: dropdown menu and enter the desired name for the file.

In situation 2, the hypertext file will be a copy of the original file but with bad links tagged or removed as desired. See Extracting links from hypertext files for more details.
