Date added to selected links

LinkWatch can include in the linked text the date when the linked document was last modified.

The user must initially add a dummy date to the linked text in the original hypertext file before it is processed by LinkWatch.

For example, in the hypertext file the following link

    Example of a link

should be changed to

Example of a link [Last Update: 1/11/11]

where an arbitary date (mon/day/year) is selected.

After link checking of this file, the output hypertext file would then show

Example of a link [Last Update: 2/28/01]

if Feb.28,2001 was the date the linked document was last modified..

The change can be made manually with the Edit Link dialog or just with the Add Last Update Tag commands in the menu and toolbar.
