Mrs. Kathleen Mihalik has been teaching in the Diocese of Allentown for 35 years, 29 of which have been at St. John's and La Salle Academy. She taught at St. Mary's, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Paul's and Cabrini, before coming to St. John's and La Salle Academy. She has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. Mrs. Mihalik is a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School. She graduated from Kutztown University with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. She holds an Instructional II Certification.

Mrs. Mihalik is a master teacher and a member of NCEA.

Mrs. Mihalik is La Salle's Religion Coordinator. She works closely with the Pastors and Religious Education Directors of the three parish community. Mrs. Mihalik supervises the weekly Faculty Prayer.

Fun Activities in Third Grade:

Third grade students enjoy participating in the Festival of Saints as well as the Christmas Show. They learn about Native Americans by visiting the Museum. They travel to the DaVinci Center to learn more about science. Third grade students really enjoy creating Power Point presentations in computer class.
