Miss Desiree Hottel graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University and holds two degrees: a B.Mus. in Music Education, and a B.S. in Bible. She has been teaching for 7 years. She is currently at Holy Guardian Angels Regional School as well as La Salle Academy.  She taught for 3 years in the Wilson School District. For the past 2 years she has been the musical director for her church. Miss Hottel received the Alphia Chi Eplison Merit for student teaching. She is a member of NCEA. Miss Hottel is knowledgeable on all musical instruments and experienced on the piano, organ, and guitar.

Miss Hottel is La Salle's Music Coordinator. She helps to prepare the sixth grade for their play, participates in the Annual Art and Musical Festival, and coordinates the Christmas show.

Fun Activities in Music:

Students enjoy the many different instruments and genres of music. Students are encouraged to use their musical talents in liturgies as part of the musical ministry. Older students focus on composers and younger students enjoy using rhythm sticks, maracas, triangles, and more. Students participate in the Christmas show.
