Mrs. Donna Doney has 12 years of teaching experience. Previously, she volunteered as the art teacher at St. Catharine of Siena for 5 years. Mrs. Doney has taught Preschool at Little La Salle, and art at Sacred Heart School. Mrs. Doney graduated from Kutztown University with a B.F.A. degree and Certification in Art Education. She holds an Instructional II Certifiation. She was awarded the CYO Award of Distinction, and the AAA Certificate of Achievement for Outstanding Poster Design. Mrs. Doney is a member of NCEA and a Reading Public Museum Educator member.

Mrs. Doney is La Salle's Art Coordinator. She involves every child in the annual La Salle Art Festival in addition to numerous art contests throughout the year. In addition, Mrs. Doney is La Salle's Enrichment teacher.

Fun Activities in Art:

Students enjoy art classes and the encouragement to express themselves. Students create masks, sculptures, fabric landscapes, mosaics, sand painting, pottery, in addition to drawing, painting, and sketching.
