Mrs. Regina Bierbower

 

 

Mrs. Regina Bierbower has 24 years of teaching experience including 22 years of teaching at St. John's and La Salle Academy. Previously, she taught at Glen Landing Middle School. Mrs. Bierbower is a graduate of Holy Name High School. She graduated cum laude from Kutztown University with a B.S. degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. Mrs. Bierbower did graduate work at Glassboro State College. She holds an Instructional II Certification and is a certified Catechist. In addition, Mrs. Bierbower is a master teacher as well as a mentor teacher. She is a member of NCEA.

 

Currently, Mrs. Bierbower is the Reading Coordinator for La Salle. She supervises the MS Read-a-thon. In addition, Mrs. Bierbower serves as Head Teacher, and was Acting Principal for one year.

 

Fun Activities for Fifth Grade:

 

In science, fifth grade students participate in an e-mission entitled "The Moon, Mars, and Beyond." They will form emergency response teams to rescue lost spacecraft in this simulated space mission. In addition, students travel to Valley Forge to learn more about American history. Fifth grade students also give witness to their faith by reaching out to the community through numerous activities.
