Reaver is a Starcademy dropout who decided piracy was a more worthwhile use of his talents. He's a world-class thief and cheat, according to Commander Goddard. He travels the galaxy in his pirate ship with his one-man crew, Ubi, a cat-like telemorph who can be anywhere Reaver needs him to be instantly.
Reaver and Commander Goddard have an intense hatred of one another. Commander Goddard is responsible for the jagged scar on Reaver's face. Commander Goddard was demoted to his teaching position because he almost started a war while chasing Reaver into hostile alien territory.
