Function: The jump tubes can take the crew quickly from one place to another. The jump tubes ordinarily use ship's power to transport people from one place to another; however, it is possible to crawl through the jump tubes without turning them on.
Specialized Equipment: You can program your destination using a peacock-like control panel on the wall near the jump tubes.
Notes: The jump tubes are somewhat prone to malfunction. If the jump tube connector circuits become disrupted, the jump tubes do not know where to send a person, and may leave the person stranded in the middle of the tubes or travelling through the tubes indefinitely, or may eject the person from the tubes incorrectly.
