Information:
James Huey, brother of Anne, was a lieutenant in the Hanover Precinct of Ulster County during the Revolution. He was a freeholderof the town of New Paltz in 1765, an active member of the New Paltz church 1760 - 1770. Phillip DuBois kept an inn at Libertyville. His widow Anne carried on with it during and after the Reviolution. It was here that a number of meetings were held including the one at which the Commitee of Safety met during the year 1777.
