More than 13 years of IT Consulting experience, primarily Lotus Notes/Domino in the past 8 years.

EXPERIENCE

Lotus Notes Consultant

Detweiler Consulting LLC, Hatfield, PA, 1998 - Present

Lead consultant and owner of Lotus Notes Consulting business.

Primary responsibilities include Lotus Notes consulting, application development, third-party product integration, R5 upgrades, Domino website development, document imaging system integration, Exchange to Notes migrations, and user training for such customers as GeoSphere Systems in Doylestown, PA, EHS Technologies in Cinnaminson, NJ, and American Water Works in Voorhees, NJ.

EHS Technologies Sample Project #1 – Developed a Lotus Domino-based EDMS system for the US Navy, providing a web-enabled document management system for environmental compliance purposes.

GeoSphere Sample Project #1 - Implemented Sales Force Automation solution for GeoSphere’s nationwide remote sales force by integrating/customizing ACT! for Lotus Notes and ErgoTech’s Sales Pipeline for Lotus Notes, including web-enablement and customized sales management roll-up reports.

GeoSphere Sample Project #2 – When GeoSphere acquired the San Francisco-based firm AcuTech, I developed the IT Consolidation Plan, and implemented its e-mail, network, and internet access consolidation pieces, including the successful MS Exchange to Lotus Notes/Domino R5 migration of all user mail databases, as well as hands-on end-user training.

GeoSphere Sample Project #3 – GeoSphere is a venture-capital-funded software product development company that created a WinNT-based "PlantSafe" product for emergency response critical situations at chemical and petroleum plants. I helped them integrate and test this Delphi 5 coded PlantSafe product with Lotus Notes for its necessary document management features, using a third-party Delphi<->Notes component product called DNotes.

GeoSphere Sample Project #4 – Performed the function of Software Configuration Manager at GeoSphere, implementing PVCS Version Manager 6.5 (then later upgrading to 7.0) and enforcing CM procedures for file check-in/out and version control upon all GeoSphere development staff. Also as the CM Manager, for each customer-delivery build of a product CD, I performed the function of rigidly checking out all the source code from PVCS, compiling the applications in Delphi 5 (for the client-side product) and Visual C++ (for the server product), then using InstallShield Professional to create and burn the customer CDs.

GeoSphere Sample Project #5 – Created a Software Problem Report database in Notes for tracking bugs in the PlantSafe product. This application included automated agents for problem escalation workflow processes, groups, roles, configuration profile documents, auto-numbering, discussion forums for problem resolution, and web-based forms for customer problem report submissions and responses. Subsequently made this application template-generated, then created multiple database instances of the design from the template for their other new product offerings like "TranSafe".

GeoSphere Sample Project #6 – Created a Domino-based Customer Service website with links to several ancillary Notes databases, such as FAQs, Problem Reports, Software Downloads, Recent Events, and Technical Support Discussions - all of these applications allowing everyone in the Customer Service department to contribute technical content real-time to the support website.

GeoSphere Sample Project #7 – When GeoSphere first decided to implement Lotus Notes (R4.6) as their e-mail/groupware/website platform, I installed their NT Servers and network, created their Notes organizational unit hierarchy and groups, installed the Domino Servers and Notes clients, and provided user training. When R5 was released, I performed all the R5 upgrades to the Domino Servers and Notes clients, gave them update training, and implemented group calendaring and scheduling for them and their shared resources.

Experience includes Lotus Notes/Domino R4/R5, WinNT/2000/98/95, Delphi 3/5, PVCS Software Configuration Management 6.5/7.0, InstallShield Pro, HTML, WebTrends, MSOffice, MS Project.
