William
H Schellenger, son of Abraham Schellenger and Jane Taylor, was born at
Cape May Co, New Jersey in 1746. He died on June 15,
1827 at 81 years of age. William was married to Philomelia
Stites, daughter of Richard Stites and Zereviah Stillwell. Philomelia
was born in 1752 and died on February 8, 1793 at age 41. Their

Their second child was Philomelia Schellenger, b.
December 11, 1774 and d. February 5, 1833 at age 59.
Philomelia married Dianel
Stevens, the son of Ezekiel Stevens and Rebecca Stillwell.
Daniel was born July 17, 1771 and died at 55 on December 25, 1926. Daniel was a gunner in the War of 1812 and a Delaware River Pilot.
Their second child was Hanna Stevens, b. September 4,
1798. Hanna was married on November 1,
1832
to Lemuel Schellenger, b. December 31, 1802 the son of Daniel Schellenger and Abigail Eldredge .
At least one son was born to them, Daniel Schellenger born in 1834, died
February 19, 1902. Lemuel Schellenger died on June 20, 1834.
Hannas
second marriage was to William Weeks. William
was born in 1797 and died at age 74 on March 16, 1871.
He was a school teacher by trade.
A son of William and Hanna was Charles H. Weeks, b. July 21, 1838. Charles married Anna E. Matthews,
daughter of Thomas Matthews and Sarah Clark. Anna was born in 1844 and died at age 49 in 1893. At age 18, Anna and Charles had a son who they
also named Charles H. Weeks, b. May 17, 1862.
At age 25, on March 11, 1869, Anna married Jehu C. Webb. After
the marriage their son, Charles,
took the name of his stepfather, Webb.
