Webb Family Tree 

A Gentlemen named Hugh Hughs hailed from Wales. His wife Katherine (Kate) Boone was born in Sweden  All we know of Kate is that she is buried in the State of Pennsylvania.

At least one child was born to them and her name was Catherine.   In 1786 she married James Preston. Also born in England in 1760.  James died in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1809.  Catherine also died in Philadelphia at an advanced age.

At least one child was born to Catherine and James in 1787, a daughter named Rachel..  Rachel married William Brearley who was born in England in the year 1783.  He was a shipwright by trade and died at 53 years of age in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the year 1836. Rachel died in 1856 also in Philadelphia, Pa.

William Brearley, and his wife Rachel Preston, had a child named Catherine on April 17, 1818.  Catherine Preston Brearley  became the wife of Lucius Webb.  Catherine died on January 3, 1890 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
Other known children are:  James Brearley, b. 1808 d. 1875 married Sarah K. Williams 
and Rebecca Till Brearley b. July 11, 1831 d. May 11, 1912 wife of Samuel Terrell Vile.
