Sailing has become my hobby and one of my passions. I started on a friend's boat sailing on Fridays. That progressed to sailing on Wednesdays and weekends on a C&C 40, and culminated with the purchase of my own Catalina 22 named Alt Escape in 1998. August 1999 saw me stepping up in size yet again--to a Catalina 27 named Dharma Bum. Today I own a C&C 34 named Japhy's Spirit. (I still have Dharma Bum but I'm trying to sell her. If you know anyone in the Chesapeake Bay area that might be interested, have them contact me.)In the average year, I'll race more than 35 races and sail more than 70 times. I've put together a few pages on my boats. An on-line log book for Alt Escape as well as a log of a trip I did with some friends of mine.
