December 5, 1998: Magothy River
Kohl, Gene Barnhart, and I departed at 1:00 for an afternoon sail. After putting the bubbler system in at the pier, the 70+ degree day called us out to sail. We had up the main and jib, sailing in 5 knots or so of breeze from the ESE. Sailed from J to G and back before it started getting dark. Tried to sneak up on some geese resting in the lee of Gibson Island. Got back into Deep Creek about 4:00 and put the boat on the trailer. She now rests in my driveway for the winter and is being prepared for next year.
