The watering grow-through pepper support shown above is made from the same materials as the tomato trellis in the previous page. This trellis is 2 foot wide, 8 foot long, and the legs are pressed in the soil about 10 inches, giving an overall grow-through height of 3 foot. In this pepper trellis I planted 12 pepper plants. I tied nylon trellis netting with 6 inch square openings between the 4 legs and above the soil at 12 inch intervals. Peppers tend to become top heavy and need support as they grow. As the peppers grow they are supported by the horizontal netting. This trellis also has the same built in watering feature to water your pepper plants. |
