    ExportControl Panel

    The ExportControl Panel is meant to be the runtime interface for the entire package. All of the active models are accesible from this panel. It should really be the only panel you need to deal with after you've got everything setup.

    This panel lives in LightWave's Generic Plugins list. This dropdown list can be found under the Display tab, on the panel opened by the Plug-in Options button. The name you're looking for is MRB:ExportControl

    • Buttons
      • Clear Unreferenced Model
      • - This button will only be active if the selected target has been orphaned - i.e. there are no LightWave objects feeding into it. Only when a target has been officially 'orphaned' can it be purged from memory. Not doing this automagically allows you to use such a target for storing frame lists or something like that.
      • Save Checked Models
      • - Fires off a preview. The range of frames to be previewed is determined by the acive frames in the active models. During the preview, the deformation/animation info for all active objects is collected, converted tot he target's , and 'rendered' (in a way) out to disk.
    • Table Columns
      • Save
      • - A check mark here indicates that a model is 'active'. This model will be saved when the model's active frames will be used in calculating the frames to Preview.
      • Export Model
      • - Simply an identifying name and export type.
    • Other Notes
      • Double-clicking a row in the table will cause the selected model's Construction panel to open.
