This page is dedicated to the Aviation Legend, Jeffery Ethell.
Through his books and videos, he took us to places and heights that most of us could only dream of. He flew dream machines and showed us what it took to fly them. He was knowledgeable without being arrogant and took great pleasure in sharing his vast knowledge and experience with us.
He accomplished so much in such a short time. That in itself is a tribute to how great a man he was. He did all this with a quiet dignity and style.
Jeffery Ethell was a credit to aviation and he will be sorely missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff a few years ago at the WWII Airshow at Reading Pennsylvania. I didn't know he was at the show till after I purchased one of his Nose Art Books from a Mid-Atlantic Air Force Museum vendor and was told that Jeff was in the main hangar signing autographs. I introduced myself and asked if he would sign the book I had just purchased. He graciously signed the book and thanked me for purchasing it. He was genuinely flattered when I told him I enjoyed flying with him, even if it was only on TV.
I felt so bad when I heard he had crashed and died while flying a P-38. I decided to do the above piece of Nose Art just for him.
Many times we wonder why God takes someone from us... But I think we should feel lucky that God shared Jeff with all of us, even if it was only for a short time.
