Come worship in-the-round
We are a congregation that is diverse in race, ethnic origin, age,
sexual orientation, political opinion, and socio-economic level,
but one in the joy with which we worship together. Our round
communion table in the center of the round sanctuary is where all
partake of the sacrament of communion, participate in the sacrament
of baptism, bring our joys and sorrows in prayer, and dedicate our
tithes and offerings.
With our round sanctuary, we do not just share the space during
worship -- by seeing each other's faces, we truly worship
with each other.
Children of all ages are welcome in the worship, and the
younger ones (up to age 6) experience the early part of the
service and their own special time with the pastor before they
leave for an extended Sunday school. Full time nursery care is
available up through age 3. The Rev. Currie Burris is
a man of deep, abiding faith who leads the congregation not only
with powerful preaching, but also with his extensive musical gifts.
Vocal and bell choirs offer a wide range of musical
selections - old and current hymns and anthems, gospel music,
afro-centric singing and drumming. Instrumental soloists and
ensembles also bring their gifts from time to time. We enjoy
Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 a.m., then gather at 10:45 a.m.
for worship every Sunday morning.
We'd love to have you join us in worship.
