Bending the purfling.
The purfling is a laminate of three wood strips (dark-light-dark).
Lessons learned: too dry makes it hard to bend, too wet makes the laminate come apart,
too much heat makes it brittle.
Note the improved bending iron. Unfortunately it got too hot inside the box
and began to melt.
