The video, Web site and document examples shown below were written to suit the particular
requirements of the job and the preferences of each client. Beyond those available here, I've produced
a wide variety of marketing, business, academic and creative pieces using textual, graphic and video
media.

In addition to writing the voice-over script, I directed, shot and edited Stroke Emergency!, and produced a
Spanish-language version as well. They are shown to patients engaged in a long-term stroke study, to acquaint
them with what to expect if they arrive at the emergency department showing symptoms of stroke.
While the announcer's voice is mine, I recorded it only as a reference for a professional voice-over actor. However, my client felt it was good enough to use in the final cut, so we did. Shooting video in a working emergency department in Manhattan was very challenging (!), but the project turned out to be one of my most rewarding, and it reinforced my abiding admiration for the people who work on the front lines of health-care delivery. This Web site for a married couple's dental practice was their second attempt; their first try was rife with errors and not successful. Working closely with the Web developer who built the site, I wrote the text content to thoroughly describe their services and technology, and to emphasize their unique commitment to warm and personal patient care. Another husband-and-wife team, this catering company wanted Web site text that would highlight their delectable cuisine and their focused
dedication to the clients they serve. I also wrote their brochure and menu, available on the site.
I wrote this letter from a biotech company's CEO inviting New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine to an event celebrating the firm's hiring
of its 100th employee. I created a similar letter to U.S. Representative Rush Holt, and both governor and
congressman attended. Below the letter is the invitation card I wrote for general invitees.
As a marketing consultant for a financial services firm, I wrote this informational piece explaining various alternative investment vehicles to high-net-worth investors. It's a good example of an
assignment that required me to move from near total ignorance of the subject to an understanding sufficient
to teach others about it.
This is one example of my work as a graphic artist. While I don't do it professionally anymore, I understand the possibilities and limitations of computer graphics and
layout, and I've collaborated with professional graphic artists in developing many pieces for publication in print
and on the Web.
I wrote this heart-wrencher from the mother of a young man who died of cancer to New Jersey Governor Richard Codey. I don't normally get very emotional
over writing jobs, but this one required me to write from her perspective, and it wasn't easy. Since then, I've been
fortunate to become the father of twin boys, making her plight all the more poignant for me.
