Here's Bill and Brenda Burton, with their son Billy, daughter Kim, and grandchildren Sidni and Jordann (Kim's children). The Burton's are originally from Castle Shannon and moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1975. Bill Sr works for JCPenney, and is currently Data Center Manager in Columbus where, among other things, he oversees the IS Operations for Eckerd Drugs, formerly Pittsburgh based Thrift Drug. Brenda works in insurance and Kim is a professional hair stylist. Bill Jr lives in Dallas, Texas and works for MCI WorldCom. They are great people and I owe them a sincere debt of gratitude for their support and encouragement during my ten years living in Columbus.

The Ohio Burton's are diehard Steeler fans, although their quarter century in the "Heart of It All" has instilled a bit of "Buckeye Madness" into their consciousness. Bill has taken quite a liking to Coach Cooper's Bucks and the Ohio State Band, which is locally dubbed "The Best Damn Band In The Land." As long as he wears Black and Gold on Sundays, and don't start singing the "Sloopy" song, I think he'll be OK. The one I worry about is my cousin Billy, who is too damn close to Jerry Jones and those Dallas Cowboys.
