My "new" older sister Eva (a long story appropriately named Story) and her family visited Columbus in April 1992. It was only the second time I had met my Norwegian sister; we had first met not long before in Michigan, where she was living temporarily. The picture was taken at Ameriflora, a festival of flowers and other interesting cultural things. It seemed a fitting place to take the Story's, a family who has been to many places across the globe. Eva was really cool, and it was during this visit that I really started falling for her and the rest of the family. Pictured here are: Ellen Story (Pete's sister from England), Morgan and I, little Thor Story, Pete Story (the Englishman), Erik Story, and my new sister Eva.
I liked to joke, and still do from time to time, that now that I have an older sister, the onus of being the oldest is now off my shoulders. If our younger sisters Karen and Lori ever had a problem they must now call Eva!
