Uncle Danny and mom at his 24th birthday party on April 9, 1975. How could we have known then that he would be alive for only two and a half more short years. Mom really loved her "little" brother, as did all of us. Some days it seems as though it was only yesterday that he was here amongst us, dazzling us with his spirit and quick wit, and other times it seems like a hundred years ago. If I could only see him once more and say "hi", give him a hug and just hold on for a moment ... well maybe someday ... but not in this life. What a bummer. God, just writing this has brought a tear to my eyes ... I miss him so much.
