During our vacation in San Diego Morgan and I tried to get to Oceanside Beach as often as possible. Unfortunately we encountered very un-San Diego like weather due to an offshore storm. It was Morgan's first trip to the beach, so we made the most of it. The waves were awesome, and the ocean so blue and clear.
We made sand castles, looked for sandworms, body surfed, collected rocks for Uncle Ron's garden, walked the beach and went in the water, which was real warm and a great place to escape the chilly breeze. The rip tide warnings were out every day and the undertow was real strong. It was a strange feeling, but fun none-the-less. One very positive thing was that we did not have to worry about sunburn! |
