Hello all fantasy fiends, science fiction addicts, other readers, non-readers, and anyone else who may have stumbled upon my page. One hopes you are not within the "non-reader" category. But--I'm straying from the point again. I hope you enjoy this site. I have a section for reviews that I have written, and a section for reviews written by visitors. The visitors' reviews do not have to be fantasy, so if you feel inclined to write anything for my lil' site, I'd be very happy! I have some information about some fantasy authors who I particularly like (this section is under SERIOUS construction!) You can also find a suggestion box further down on this page with which to give the humble webmaster ideas. Send me a line-- comments on design or just random shout outs are cool too, and I'd welcome any suggestions you make, even though I may be slow in implementing them. been absent for over a year, and yes, I am deeply sorry.
However matters of education (ahh! it's all about
to start again!) have caused me to abandon this site.
However I've got some goodies: a new color scheme,
a new page (about me- not like anyone really
wanted to know), and a bunch of reviews in the works. July 21, 2001-I have fiddled around, updated everything, done lotsa cool stuff... I am also working on the coding for a cool new thing (for me!)--a button bar! See the Coming Soon section for more. June 17, 2001- I added the review for The Subtle Knife. June 16, 2001- Oh my gosh! I am very very sorry for the long span of time I was away, school makes this kind of thing very difficult. Anyway, I have been showing off my artistic prowess by making two new banners! Hooray! I am also in the middle of a lot of other stuff, reviews, small fixes, etc. The delinquent counter is now officially banished; as my web host keeps sending me emails about my use of cgi script and blah blah blah... October 31, 2000- Happy Halloween! Now you can read the review for The Hermit Thrush Sings, this really cool book. Also, I have totally and completely revamped the reviews page. It is makes much more sense now. My counter started doing a weird new thing today, so don't pay it any attention. July 25, 2000- I have the review for the fourth Harry Potter!! Read it now! I also added the review for The Seven Songs of Merlin. June 30, 2000- Sorry for the long wait! I have the review for The Lost Years of Merlin in. May 24, 2000- Reviews for 2041 and Children of the Morning Sun have been added. Did some minor edits on how my links and targets work. May 5, 2000- I *tried* to add a counter. Finally, success resulted. Cool colors, but tacky white around the edges. I'll work on that. April 18, 2000- I made the links page. Check it out! I also added a suggestion box, so please, if there is anything you think I should add, a book I should review, or anything sorta like that, tell me about it! I also added forms in Submit Your Own Review. Learned forms in a day! Hooray for me! April 17, 2000- I added the Submit a Review link. Added ratings for the books. April 16, 2000- Hooray! reviews I'd like to write:
I also must finish distrubuting my
yellow color scheme throughout the site. October 30, 2000- The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass, two completely wonderful books by Philip Pullman will get reviewed in November sometime. Also, I should add a few nifty images here and there around the site. Pretty image-less at the moment. June 30, 2000- The 2nd,3rd, and 4th Merlin books should be in soon. I need to finish reading the 4th one though. April 17, 2000- Forms for submitting reviews and a poll. Also a "suggestion box." I have no clue when these will be here, depends on when I learn how to make forms :-) April 16, 2000- A links page with links to pages about the authors, fan clubs, other pages like mine... You get the picture. This should be here within the next month. The author info page will be finished...eventually. It's a drag to do the author page. I have to hunt down info about the authors when some aren't really known by the public--and I'm a very lazy person. Just writing this is a strain on my resources...ahh. But I'm dodging the point again. I may only do five or six well-known authors, but we'll see.
