John has a dual background in programming and visual communications. He has extensive experience in technical direction and in the creative content development of kiosks, interactive training projects and multimedia marketing products.

He has worked for, and consulted with, AT&T, Bell Laboratories, and Bellcore (later, Telcordia). Clients include: Verizon, Qwest, Telkom South Africa, and BELLSouth.

John employs a selection of 3D modeling and animation software programs in his work. He is a strong advocate for the value of these simulation and spatial tools for developing effective and engaging interactive training.

John has designed and facilited workshops on Unix-based documentation and graphics tools for Bell Laboratories, and has expertise in technical support for Unix and Macintosh platforms.

His creative arts accomplishments include editorial cartoons, magazine illustration, architectural photography, animation and print design. He has published articles about multimedia and animation in industry trade magazines and newsletters.

John is currently a member of Visual-Spacial Encounter, an academic research group developing an online resource center devoted to research on dyslexia and the shared experiences of people with visual/spatial strengths.

In addition, John made his Manhattan stand-up comedy debut in June at Stand-up NY. He has since appeared at Caroline's on Broadway. At present, he is member of Steve Rosenfield's on-going comedy workshop at the American Comedy Institute in New York City.
