Auto Detailing & Boat Cleaning Guides
Detailing your own car just got easier. The Automobile Detailing Guide provides everything you need to know about paint finishes and explains how to safely clean, polish and wax your vehicle, just like a professional. The Boat Detailing Guide takes the mystery out of caring for fiberglass gelcoat finishes as it explains the professional approach to safely cleaning, polishing and waxing your own boat.

Automobile Detailing Today
For years, car owners have relied on automated car washes to maintain the appearance of their cars. Today, with people keeping their cars longer coupled with the rising cost of new cars their has been a substantial increase for the need of professional detailing services. While many detailing businesses continue to sacrifice much of their quality in order to meet this increasing demand, Mirror Finish Detailing has set high quality standards in order to maintain its competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Mirror Finish Detailing was started by Frank Canna in 1986. Prior to starting his own business, Mr. Canna worked for a car wash manufacturing firm for more than ten years in the position of Quality Assurance Manager. Work experience, quality methods and marketing knowledge have all led to the growth and success of his company.

The mission of the company is to specialize in protecting and enhancing the appearance of cars and boats while taking care of all work at the client's location. As a leader in the industry, Mirror Finish Detailing is proud to be Southern New Jersey's 'original mobile detailing business.'

Almost all of our automobile detailing clients utilize our mobile detailing services in the spring to protect against acid rain and the UV rays of the summer sun and again in the fall as an added protection against winter ice, snow and road salt. Many of the company's clients have their vehicles detailed as many as three to four times a year, with the change of each season.

Many of the company's competitors, including car washes and detail shops, rely mostly on wholesale work from car dealers in order to maintain volume and stay in business. Wholesale work can often lead to the focus of the business being placed on quantity, not quality. That's mainly because of the constant lowing of prices in order to continue to get the work. This almost always leads to sub-standard quality, especially compared to what retail clients expect from a professional car detailing business. In order to up-hold it's high quality standards and meet the needs of the motoring public, Mirror Finish Detailing only services retail automobile detailing clients, not wholesale car dealer accounts.

Antique and classic car owners call on the company's detailing service during the car show season. However, since almost all collector cars are stored indoors, many owners have the company detailed their cars during the winter months. Since all work is done exclusively by Mr. Canna, collector car owners know they can trust Mirror Finish Detailing when it comes to taking care of their cars.

Boat detailing clients usually begin to get thier boats cleaned, polished and waxed in early spring and throughout the summertime boating season. Smart boat owners know how important it is to maintain the appearance of thier boat on a regular basis. They fully understand that periodic detailing not only enhances the appearance of their boat, but also helps to protect all surfaces from the hazards of the environment.

Most boat detailing competitors, including boat dealers and marinas, are at a total disadvantage because they usually do not offer boat detailing at the client's location. And like car dealerships, they sometimes wholesale out their work, resulting in another reason for sub-standard quality. To take advantage of this opportunity, Mirror Finish Detailing only services retail boat clients, not marina wholesale accounts.

The advantage that separates Mirror Finish Detailing from the rest of its competitors is the fact that all work is done at the client's Southern New Jersey location and all of the cleaning, polishing and waxing is done only by hand.
