to showcasing their work.
RECIPE
CORNER
If you've ever been lucky to be a part of
any Futures' party, you know very well how amazing our students are in
the kitchen. I asked students to contribute some of their favorite
recipes to share with everyone. Since most of them cook by improvisation,
they had to give their best guess as to how the recipe might read.

WRITING
CORNER
One of the 5 subject tests of the GED is the
writing test, which includes both grammar mechanics and an essay.
As a part of preparing for that test, our students write essays on various
topics--anything from environmental concerns to what they would most like
to teach their children. These are some of the results.
